RedDeskCo ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.
RedDeskCo is an independently operated coworking space based in Peckham, London SE15. Our website address is https://reddesk.co. If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, you can contact us at work@reddesk.co.
When you submit a tour booking or enquiry through our website, we collect your name, email address, telephone number (if provided), the number of desks you require (if provided), a description of your business or practice, any questions you submit, and your preferred tour date and time. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, arrange a tour, and follow up with you about our coworking space. This data is processed on the basis of your consent (you chose to submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to prospective coworkers.
If you become a coworker at RedDeskCo, we collect payment details necessary to set up and manage your monthly direct debit through GoCardless. GoCardless acts as our payment processor and handles your bank details securely. We do not store your bank details on our website or servers. You can view GoCardless's privacy policy at https://gocardless.com/privacy/.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This collects anonymised data such as which pages you visit, how long you spend on them, and how you found us. This data helps us improve the website and understand which content is useful. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which helps prevent spam submissions. reCAPTCHA collects information about your interaction with our website and sends it to Google for analysis. This is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing spam. You can view Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on our website. This collects anonymised data about page visits to help us measure the effectiveness of any advertising we run on Facebook or Instagram. The pixel may set cookies on your device. You can opt out of Facebook's data collection through your Facebook account settings or through the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/.
We use Google Tag Manager to manage the analytics and tracking scripts on our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data, but it enables other tools (such as Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel) described in this policy.
Our website displays a feed of our Instagram posts using the Smash Balloon Instagram Feed plugin. This connects to Instagram's API to display our content. It does not collect any personal data from visitors viewing the feed.
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files stored on your device that help our website function and allow us to understand how it is used.
The cookies we use include:
Essential cookies: These are required for the website to function properly, including form submissions and security features.
Analytics cookies: Set by Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the website. These cookies collect anonymised information.
Marketing cookies: Set by the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure advertising effectiveness.
reCAPTCHA cookies: Set by Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam.
We use a consent management system in compliance with UK GDPR. When you first visit our website, you will be asked to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings.
Contact form enquiries are retained for up to 12 months after your last interaction with us, unless you become a coworker, in which case we retain your contact details for the duration of your time with us and for 12 months afterwards.
Payment records processed through GoCardless are retained in accordance with GoCardless's own data retention policies and UK financial record-keeping requirements.
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We share data only with the following third-party services that help us operate our website and business:
Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, reCAPTCHA, Search Console) for website analytics, spam prevention, and search performance monitoring.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) for advertising measurement via the Facebook Pixel.
GoCardless for processing direct debit payments from coworkers.
Contact Form 7 processes form submissions on our server. Form data is sent to our email address and is not transmitted to any external service by the plugin itself.
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right of access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to erasure: You can ask us to delete your personal data, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it.
Right to restrict processing: You can ask us to limit how we use your data.
Right to data portability: You can request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
