Quiet Workspace Peckham

Fixed desk £225/mo. No VAT. Rolling contracts.

RedDeskCo is a small, quiet coworking space on Asylum Road in Peckham, a five minute walk from Queens Road Peckham station. If you need a workspace where you can concentrate without interruption, we are deliberately designed for exactly that. 14 fixed desks, no hot-desking, no events, and no strangers walking in off the street.
RedDeskCo's focus is aimed at long term tenants who are interested in creating a secure and trusted office community in which to work and network with other like-minded professionals.
We provide an affordable co-working office space in Peckham located within walking distance of local cafes, shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants as well as a Queen's Road Peckham overground station.

The newly refurbished space features a contemporary design and provides a private meeting room, shower facilities, dining and lounge area.

We do not offer hot-desking.

Why RedDeskCo is quiet

The quietness of RedDeskCo is not accidental. It comes from specific decisions about how the space operates. There is no hot-desking, which means no stream of unfamiliar people coming and going each day. There are no day passes, so the only people in the office are permanent members. And at 14 desks, the space is small enough that everyone knows each other by name.

This is not a criticism of larger coworking spaces. They serve a different need. But if you have tried working in those environments and found the noise, the unpredictability, and the constant turnover of people distracting, RedDeskCo offers something genuinely different.

What quiet workspace actually means day to day

On a typical day at RedDeskCo, you arrive to find your desk exactly as you left it. Your monitor, keyboard, and personal items are where you put them. The same people you worked alongside yesterday are at their desks. There might be a brief conversation in the kitchen while making tea, but the main room is focused and calm.

If you need to take a call, there is a private meeting room you can book at no extra cost. It has a projector and space for up to six people, so client meetings and video calls happen behind a closed door rather than at your desk. The kitchen and dining area are separate from the main workspace, so lunch breaks and conversations do not spill into the working environment.

How we compare to other Peckham coworking spaces

The larger coworking spaces in Peckham, such as Market Peckham and Peckham Levels, are busy creative environments with dozens of members, hot-desking, event programming, and open-plan studios. They are good at what they do, but they are not quiet.

RedDeskCo is a different type of space entirely. We have 14 desks, not 80. We have fixed memberships, not day passes. We do not run events. And at £225 a month with no VAT, a fixed desk here costs less than a hot desk at most of those spaces once you add their 20% VAT on top.

Most coworking spaces in Peckham are designed around energy and activity. They offer hot-desking, host events, run networking nights, and welcome drop-in visitors throughout the day. That works well for people who want a social, creative environment, but it does not work for everyone. If your work requires concentration, a predictable environment, and the ability to sit down and focus without background noise from events or unfamiliar people, those spaces can be frustrating. RedDeskCo was set up with the opposite approach. The space is small, the membership is fixed, and the same people are in the office every day. There are no events, no day passes, and no drop-in visitors. You know who you are sharing the office with, and they know you. The result is a workspace that feels more like a small office than a coworking space. Members leave their equipment set up overnight, arrive to a ready desk every morning, and work in a calm, professional environment. At 14 desks, the space is small enough that it never feels crowded or anonymous.

No. Every desk at RedDeskCo is a fixed, permanent desk. You get your own desk that nobody else uses, and you can leave your equipment set up overnight. We do not offer hot-desking, day passes, or drop-in access. This is one of the main reasons the space stays quiet.

No. RedDeskCo does not run events, networking nights, workshops, or social gatherings. The space is for working. Members socialise naturally over tea and lunch, but there is no programmed activity that disrupts the working day.

A fixed desk at RedDeskCo costs £225 per month for Monday to Friday access, or £290 per month for seven-day access. There is no VAT, so the price you see is the price you pay. We also offer a £100 first-month trial, and if you book three months upfront your fourth month is free.

Contracts are rolling monthly. You just need to give seven days written notice if you want to leave. There are no long-term commitments or lock-in periods.

Your desk comes with a chair, power, and high-speed internet. The space also includes a private meeting room, a kitchen with tea and coffee, shower facilities, and a dining area. You are welcome to bring your own monitor, keyboard, and anything else you need to set up your workstation.

Of course. You can book a tour through the website or email work@reddesk.co and we will show you around. We also offer a £100 first-month trial so you can work from the space before committing to the full monthly rate.

Most coworking spaces in Peckham are larger, busier environments with hot-desking, events, and creative studio space. RedDeskCo is deliberately smaller and quieter: 14 fixed desks, no hot-desking, no events, and no drop-in visitors. At £225 a month with no VAT, it is also cheaper than most hot desk options in the area.
